Community Bible Study exists to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study, available to all. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you'll participate in small group discussion and large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and connection within the class.

The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present.

Upcoming for '26/'27: James and Genesis

The epistle of James is one of the most practical books in the Bible. This 6-week course will encourage each class member to lead a more consistent, caring Christian life and to explore practical application of faith in family and society.

Although Genesis is an ancient book, it speaks to some of the bigger questions we have today: Is there a God? If so, what his He like? Why is there evil in the world? Why are we here, and where can we find purpose and hope? In this course, which covers the fist 22 chapters of Genesis, participants will see that God created a beautiful world and gave people a noble calling in His creation. It explains how our world was fractured by human rebellion and presents the beginnings of God's plan to put everything back together.

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry.
